Google’s Woke AI Disaster is Even Worse than You Thought
Recently, we warned you about the coming wave of Woke artificial intelligence (AI). Now, new revelations show that Google’s AI product, called Gemini, is even more compromised by woke ideology than anyone imagined.
Google rolled out its image-generating AI last week. However, users quickly found that the program refused to generate images of white people. When asked to create images of historical figures like America’s Founding Fathers or even current figures like the Pope, Gemini “diversified” the images and changed their race. Worse, it did so without being asked. As a result, users received AI generated images of a black George Washington, a female Pope, and ethnically diverse Nazis.

The extreme woke bias was built into Gemini from the beginning. The Google executive responsible for overseeing the project was recently exposed for his radical posts on social media. For example, in 2018, he Tweeted, “White privilege is f—ing real … Don’t be an a—hole and act guilty about it – do your part in recognizing bias at all levels of egregious.” It’s clear that the entire Gemini project was infused with radical leftist ideology.

It wasn’t just image generation: Gemini routinely pumped out progressive talking points in response to political questions, then tried to pass them off as truth. We previously warned about the AI’s inherent bias. But instead of fixing the problem with its AI product’s inherent bias, Google doubled down and made it even worse. Gemini now defends Hamas terrorists while condemning the state of Israel; it argues that schools helped spread COVID-19, but that Black Lives Matter protests did not; and even refuses to answer whether pedophilia was immoral.

Google has shut down the AI’s ability to create images, claiming that it will fix its bias issues. It might be too little, too late: Google’s CEO is now facing calls to resign.
