Coca-Cola won’t stop its woke ways. From supporting men competing in women’s and girls’ sports and funding transgender activists to proudly proclaiming “DEI is at the heart of our values,” Coke is still totally woke.
Three years after Consumers’ Research put Coca-Cola on blast for going woke, Coca-Cola has refused to clean up its act.
This week, Consumers’ Research again called out “Woka-Cola” for its radical stances with a mobile billboard sounding the alarm about the company’s betrayal of women’s sports. The mobile billboard will be displayed around Coca-Cola headquarters and the World of Coca-Cola Museum in Atlanta.
The Coca-Cola Company is on the advisory council of the Centre for Sports and Human Rights (CSHR) – an activist organization advocating for men to play in women’s sports – as well as a major sponsor.

For “Women’s History Month,” CSHR even praised Laurel Hubbard, a 43-year-old male weightlifter, for becoming “the first openly transgender woman to compete” in the Olympics.

To add to CSHR and Coca-Cola’s close partnership, Coca-Cola’s VP of Human Rights, Paul Lalli, was announced as a member of CSHR’s Board Nomination Committee. Two of CSHR’s current board members previously worked in management at Coca-Cola.

CSHR also published a guide for how U.S. host cities can create “opportunities for advancing transgender, nonbinary, and intersex inclusion” at the FIFA World Cup 2026. Some of its recommendations are to let boys play in girls’ soccer leagues, make bathrooms gender-neutral, and require gender-neutral language.

In 2023, the Coca-Cola Foundation awarded $150,000 to the Transgender Law Center (TLC) to support “leadership development and skill building for transgender activists and allies,” including supporting sex change procedures for kids. In 2024, TLC filed an amicus brief advocating for the Supreme Court to rule against Tennessee’s law banning transgender procedures for minors. TLC has also spoken out against President Trump’s executive order that prohibits children from receiving sex-change surgeries and puberty blockers.
TLC also listed Coca-Cola as a sponsor for its annual Spark Conference, an event dedicated to “celebrating trans people thriving and fighting for liberation.”

The Coca-Cola Company is also listed as a “Platinum Tier” sponsor for the Trevor Project, which Consumers’ Research recently exposed for its underground grooming website, putting vulnerable children at risk.

Coca-Cola also donated $50,000 to Startout, a group focused on DEI initiatives such as “empowering LGBTQ+ entrepreneurs” who will become an “essential driver of inclusivity and social progress.” Both the Coca-Cola Company and the Coca-Cola Foundation are listed as “Platinum” sponsors on Startout’s website.

In 2024, Coca-Cola opposed a resolution which called on the company to issue a report analyzing whether its DEI programs created any legal risks of discrimination based on gender and race. Coca-Cola’s board claimed DEI was a “strategic business priority and critical to the company’s success.”
Coca-Cola also published a DEI progress report to show its successes in DEI policies.
