These three companies are trying to distract from their going woke by sponsoring Team USA
Comcast, The Hershey Company, and Nike are Team USA 2024 Paris Olympic sponsors, but behind the scenes, they’re doubling down on wokeness.
Comcast
Comcast’s RISE program flew in the face of American values with its discriminatory practices. The program offered millions of dollars in grant money to small businesses, “but only if they are 51% owned by someone who is ‘Black, Indigenous, a person of color, or female.’” Comcast claimed the program was designed to help businesses hit by the COVID-19 pandemic, but they allowed only certain demographics to receive assistance. Comcast was sued for its woke program.

Additionally, Comcast flexed its woke muscles by discriminating against nonprofit XX-XY Athletics, which advocates for women’s sports. The group was advertising on Comcast networks and was forced to carry a political disclaimer on its ads.

Hershey’s
The chocolate maker has betrayed the American dream by engaging in discriminatory hiring practices. Hershey openly brags about setting racial quotas when making hiring decisions and promotes its DEI and ESG goals.
In 2023, Hershey’s was sued over its many programs explicitly designed to favor certain demographics over others.

Nike
When it comes to using its cultural cache and vast sums of money to promote anti-American values, Nike may be one of the worst offenders. Since Consumers’ Research called Nike out for its woke ways, its been trying to cover its tracks by sponsoring Team USA. But Nike is still pushing woke politics behind the scenes as it continues to tie executive compensation to reaching DEI goals. This DEI “roadmap” openly touts the company’s aggressive plan of hitting race and gender quotas in its hiring practices. It appears Nike has no intention of changing course.
