California Weighs Tougher Emissions Rules For Gas-Powered Garden Equipment (NPR Podcast)

Cars are often criticized as the biggest source of pollutants in individual households, but there is another often-overlooked item in many consumers’ garages that emits pollutants. According to NPR, leaf blowers, lawn mowers, and other gas-powered gardening and landscaping equipment will soon pass cars as the biggest polluters in the state of California.
