Adobe Launches New Video Editing App

Adobe has released a new video editing app tailored for social media.

The newest addition to Adobe’s collection of editing, design, and web development software, Adobe Premiere Rush CC combines simplified versions of Premiere Pro (video editing), Audition (audio mixing), and After Effects (motion graphics creation) into an intuitive and simple interface.

Users can use the app to shoot videos, then alter colors, change audio levels, and add motion graphics. The app even includes presets for exporting projects directly to social platforms such as Snapchat, Instagram, and Facebook.

Since projects automatically upload to the Adobe Cloud, Rush users who begin video projects on a mobile device can continue them on their computers. Rush files are also cross-compatible with Premiere Pro, allowing users to transfer their Rush projects to the more powerful Premiere Pro software.

Access to Adobe Premiere Rush CC costs $9.99 per month. Aspiring social media editors can also access the program through Adobe’s app package, which costs $52.99 per month and includes its entire collection of both desktop and mobile programs.

Interested in Rush but unsure whether you want to commit? You can also try a free Starter Plan that allows you to export up to three projects.
