New iPhones Expected to Launch on September 12

Apple’s annual product launch will occur on September 12, 2017. This is usually the event when Apple unveils its newest iPhones and other updates and new products, and this year promises to be a big one as it marks the 10th anniversary of the new iPhone.

The Verge reports that three new iPhones are expected to be unveiled: the iPhone 8, and updated versions of the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus. The iPhone 8 will likely be the big story at this year’s event. The new device is expected to have an OLED display across the entire face of the phone and also include a new 3D face-scanning camera. In case you were wondering; yes, that likely means that the home button is gone. Time will tell if Apple’s rumored killing of the home button will elicit the same sense of annoyance on the part of consumers as Apple removing the iPhone’s auxiliary headphone jack or its changes to the MacBook.

Apple is also expected to reveal a new type of Apple Watch that has cellular service as well as a 4K Apple TV.
